Manish Arora presented an eccentric psychedelic Gipsy with an Eastern European style that could well be a candy-version of Gina Lollobrigida’s famous Esmeralda. He used vivid colors, a multitude of eye catching patterns and layers, fringes and giant earrings.
Diane Von Furstenberg went more for a 70’s style Coachella bohemian. The patchwork of flower motifs, the fresh summer colours and the wavy hair attached with flowers, all gave a very romantic feel.
Reem Acra’s collection used Middle-Eastern folkloric cloths vocabulary to create an original and special kind of Bohemian that was materialized in a variety of oriental-inspired belts, turbans and a new take on caftans.
The Reem Acra caftans below, in Sayeh-like fabric, remind of the Levantine style.
